When a person looks at the mirror and sees lines and wrinkles, some of them are panicking because it is already signs of aging. Therefore, having a younger look is what people aim. They use several beauty products that contains different ingredients that can help a person look younger. Day and night creams, serums, masks, eye creams, etc. are some of the products that helps people reduce fine lines and wrinkles to look younger.

There are also treatments that prevent or remove signs of aging, such as Botox and Fillers. The two are known remedies for lines and wrinkles. Though both seem similar and people tend to confuse the two with each other, it still has some differences and have different areas to cover.

BOTOX

Botox or medically known as Botulium Toxin, was originally use for medical conditions like blepharospasms and hyperhidrosis. In 2002, FDA approved it as a cosmetic treatment for wrinkles and fine lines usually in the eyebrow area and eyes.

This treatment is famously known for people who are aiming to have a younger look by removing frown lines and wrinkles, mostly in the forehead area and prevents signs or effect of aging. It usually improves frown lines between or above the eyebrows and also crow’s feet lines around the eyes.

This treatment targets dynamic wrinkles caused by various motions of the face or by making expressions. Wrinkles can develop when the face is always in motion or making expressions. When treated, it reduces the motion and visibility of the lines as well as softens it. It can also be adjusted to establish a more natural effect. The procedure can give out some slight bruising or swelling due to the tiny needles injected to the skin, but it can easily covered by makeup. It doesn’t have any long time side effects and there are no downtime, The results varies from individuals though usually ranges from 3-6 months.

FILLERS

Fillers or dermal fillers is also used as a treatment for eliminating and preventing signs of aging. The different side of it from botox is it fills the trouble areas with collagen that can help prompt collagen to the face. When a person gets older, his natural collagen and elastin in the skin reduces, therefore losing cells that makes a person look younger.

This treatment usually targets stagnant lines that are visible even though the face is motionless and expressionless. These areas are mostly depreciated and sunken. Hyaluronic Acid is injected to the skin to make it fuller and helps the skin to lift and replace the collagen loss. It will give of a fresher and youthful glow. The treatment can be used in different areas of the face, wherever the client wants.

There will be a feeling of minimal discomfort though the procedure only lasts for about 30-45 minutes. After the treatment, the results can already be seen.

People have different preferences when it comes to their skin.Since there are different types of wrinkles, it is important to consult a professional on what kind of treatment to help remove it and how to prevent it from being visible.
